That’s amazing! This will become, if it is not already, the new way to produce art. The art of the new millennium. These are the last days to be flashed and even interact with myriads of sharpy lights. Winter Lights Festival, this the name of the event, is being displayed throughout the major business district of London, Canary Wharf.
Indeed, for eleven days of the first month of the year, thirty sculptures and structures of light, indoors and outdoors, have shined the space and the people surrounding them. There has been an installation shining through the bodies of the visitors of the event, “Through this we are given the opportunity to experience a world of light and sound created by our own physicality,” explains the creators, Philipp Mohr and Selektivton.
Exploring the way in which interactivity could become the art of the future is the mission of Aphra Shemza’s installations, which are the results of “the way in which the viewer responds to the work.”
Many more shining structures can be found around the borough, so, let’s find all!
